The King's College has impacted my life in so many ways.
My first year at college was very uncertain. The pandemic was still a big issue. I was going through a breakup. I didn't really know where I fit in. The King's College provided me with a community of people who have uplifted me and been there for me through my worst moments. The House System (House of Clara Barton whoop) provided me with a community of girls who were there for me, laughed with me, and prayed for me. Then, joining The King's College theater program was the best descision I ever made. Through the theater program I not only found a hobby I loved, but grew close with people I now consider some of my best friends. Through the King's College I have been able to surround myself with people who I love dearly and I am extremely thankful for that.
Though some of the classes can be challenging, I have also loved my classes. I've grown exponentially in the past 3 years I have been here. I have been challenged to grow and gain new perspectives through management and politics classes. I found a passion for screenwriting through screenwriting classes. I pushed myself with filmmaking classes. I would never have grown the way I have without the King's College. For that reason this College holds a very special place in my heart.
